LanMan98 Problem

Post by bengershon » Thu May 06, 2004 7:03 pm

Loading LanMan98 is OK. It appears under OmniClient OK. However, attempting to log onto a share with it gives an error message 'SWI &52680 not known'.

The desktop frontend is provided by the 32-bit OmniClient module which can't see the 26-bit LanMan98 module's SWI interface.

You have two options with Aemulor Pro as it stands currently:

* use a 26-bit OmniClient frontend if you have one
* patch a copy of OmniClient to run under Aemulor, which can be done by setting the module's flag word to zero using StrongED or Zap. (For version 2.12 of OmniClient this is at offset &60)

A more elegant solution is obviously required, and is on my list of things to do.
