Aemulor and the A9home

Post by admin » Mon Oct 17, 2005 11:33 pm

The latest pre-release build of Aemulor Pro can now emulate the low-colour screen modes that, like the Iyonix, the A9home does not support natively in hardware. Oweing to the pre-release nature of the current A9home OS it doesn't yet work perfectly but I can run the demo of Sibelius 7.

A9 users: I would recommend starting Aemulor manually, or at the end of the boot sequence for now because the USB modules in the A9home's boot sequence are not marked 32-bit compatible and thus get loaded under Aemulor if it is included in PreDesk.

Adding Aemulor to the 'Run' section of Configuration.Boot will work for most applications. An odd few applications will require Aemulor to be started from PreDesk but that will have to wait until a full release of the A9home OS.
