What MDF file for HP 2035 monitor?

Post by Tim F Powys-Lybbe » Tue Nov 01, 2005 1:56 pm

I have just received a HP 2035 Monitor from you for use with Geminus. But there was no MDF file with it nor is this monitor on the list of MDFs in Configure for my Iyonix.
Can you supply a suitable MDF?

Any MDF which provides resolutions up 1600x1200@60Hz should be fine. e.g. AKF85.

If you have no luck with that let me know and I'll see what I can find.

Cheers,

MDF for HP 2035

The following NDFs show on the Iyonix screen configure facility in Boot that they can do 1600 x 1200:
AU 4313UP
Iiyame E511S
Vision Master pro 413, 454. 512. 513 and 1451
Philips 109E
Sharp LL-T2015

The AKF85 is not amongst them.

I tried each of these in turn but for none of them would Geminus give an option to set 1600 x 1200; in all cases the larger scale MDFs just were not shown.

What next?

Geminus doesnt yet support 1600x1200 (see the product pages for the detailed constraints) because of prior limitations in the OS NVidia driver.

So, you should be able to use 1600x1200 in single screen mode using one of the existing MDFs, and drop back to 1280x1024 when using a rotated or muti-screen mode with Geminus.

A future version of Geminus will add support for 1600x1200 now that the OS finally allows it (RISC OS 5.10)
